Walking Tour - King's Cross Renaissance Saturday 23 March 2019 10am
A walking tour of the King's Cross area, Europe’s largest city centre regeneration scheme. A combination of 20 historic and 30 new buildings set in new streets, squares and parks, the development is a 25 year project creating a new place and piece of city in an area once neglected.
Your guide is England Policy Officer at the Royal Town Planning Institute, a Design Review Panel Member for Design South East and a Built Environment Expert with the Design Council. She previously worked for Lichfields, and was involved as a planning consultant in Kings Cross Central for Argent and for the Guardian.
Meet 10am at the Western Concourse of Kings Cross station N1C 4AL, at the base of the roof structure where it reaches the ground, directly outside the ticket office as shown in picture.
Tour duration 2.5-3hrs. Tour ends near St Pancras.
