Dr Erin McKellar, Curator of Space Popular: The Portal Galleries, leads an engaging and insightful tour of the multidimensional exhibition.

Erin will guide us through the magic and mechanics of virtual travel in an exhibition that bridges the technologies of Soane’s time and ours. The exhibition includes drawings by Space Popular juxtaposed with drawings from Soane's office, a new spatial film experienced through VT headsets, and a large new handcrafted ‘portal table’ which offers a three-dimensional timeline of fictional portals and is also the stage for a second spatial film.

Friends will have the opportunity to explore the rest of Soane's Museum independently after the tour.

Space Popular is a research driven architecture, design and media studio that explores the future of spatial experience through virtual reality, film, exhibitions, speculative writing, as well as buildings and objects.
